Terra Sem Males

Terra Sem Males is a book that interweaves historical and contemporary facts through a narrative that associates the Guarani myth of Terra Sem Males with the work by artists Adriana Varejão, Carlos Vergara, Cildo Meireles, Denilson Baniwa, Hélio Oiticica, Moara Tupinambá, Panmela Castro, Tadáskía, Xadalu Tupã Jekupé, and Vik Muniz. The publication reflects on ways of “being better in this imperfect land”, a vision crossed by the artist’s poetics presented in this book by João Vergara.
