“Encruzilhadas: We Believe in Street Corners” brought together seven sound offerings by 29 Brazilian artists. The exhibition invited the whole body to listen to scenes, voices, sounds, and expressions, turning the street corner—that place at the edge—into a gathering point for cosmologies. With our feet on the ground and our eyes on the sky, we set out to develop an identity born from the idea of representing the present moment: a mix of the power of ancestral rites and sound technologies, guided by one path—the presence of Exu in every creation. To visually translate the exhibition’s concept, we created a symbolic universe of images directly or indirectly connected to the orixá, bringing this entire crossroads together in a single place: the now.
Childhood is not preparation for life; it is life itself unfolding. With this in mind, we worked with Espaço Envolvimento on a careful rebranding process, moving through conceptual and strategic stages and arriving at a visual expression that reflects the school’s new moment.
Pacto Visual 5 brings four international artists and four Brazilian artists together through nominations and interviews. The book investigates affinities, tensions, and ties to Brazil, turning another person’s gaze into a pact for new forms of closeness and possibility.
By Chance is a platform-artwork created to generate combinations and sets from keywords randomly drawn from collections created or curated by the artist. Like dice cast in a game of chance, these words follow specific instructions and reveal unexpected connections, opening paths for creative processes across different fields—from visual arts to education, music to literature.
